Original item in very good condition.
The bayonet shows minor age wear.
There are minor rust spots/age staining to all the metal fixings.
The pommel is regiment marked.
The blade has some minor rust spots but generally still clean.
The ricasso is maker marked and stamped.
The catch works well and the bayonet fits snug in the scabbard.
This is the second type with the oil hole just above the second brass rivet in the handle.
Overall length of the bayonet 42cm.
